PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE CHANGES TO THE LEAF COLLECTION PROGRAM THIS YEAR
In order to ensure that other important Public Works tasks are effectively addressed, especially repairs to the Township’s roadways and storm drains, Public Works will begin collecting leaves in the specific neighborhoods listed below as closely as possible to the posted schedule.
All residents are encouraged to compost leaves on their own property.
THIS SCHEDULE IS WEATHER DEPENDENT AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE
BEGINNING NOVEMBER 18th (Yellow in the attached Map)
Red School House Road and neighborhoods to the South
Village of Annandale and surrounding neighborhoods
BEGINNING DECEMBER 9th (Green in the attached Map)
Regional Road and neighborhoods South to Red School House Road
East of Rt. 31
For all other areas not indicated on the map, residents are strongly encouraged to compost leaves on their own property. Public Works will be collecting leaves in these areas as time and resources allow, but due to other responsibilities cannot commit to doing so within a specific timeframe.
Please keep in mind the following:
1. DPW CANNOT ACCEPT -
a.. Piles of leaves with sticks, branches and grass clippings, as this damages the machines.
b. Bagged leaves.
2. Please do not rake leaves into the roadway, as this obstructs drainage.
3. Do not pile onto drainage ditches
Public Works appreciates your cooperation and patience to ensure the program’s success
