Please be advised that NJDEP (Department of Environmental Protection) has been in contact with Republic’s management and attorney regarding trash pickup. Apparently, there have been con?icting reports as to the adequacy of the customer list provided to Republic from Premier. Republic is aware of NJDEP’s concerns and
is taking immediate steps to rectify the problem.
If you are experiencing issues with your trash pickup —
*Report your complaint to the Hunterdon County Department of Health, Of?ce of Solid Waste and Recycling Coordinators @ 908-788-1351. Republic is following up with this of?ce daily each morning to obtain the addresses of any missed pickups and claims that they will make those pickups by the next day. If you have placed a call to the Hunterdon County Office of Solid Waste and Recycling and have not received service the following day,
advise the department of such.
*Report missed pickups to the NJDEP at 609-984-4250. NJDEP can also provide a list of haulers operating in Hunterdon County if you choose to discontinue service with Republic.
Pursuant to solid waste regulations, residential customers have the right to select their solid waste collector on a competitive basis and to discontinue service at any time, provided the collector is given seven days written notice.
